Self-portrait (with insomnia)

I've always endured phases of insomnia, but it seems to have got worse recently. I'm used to nights of interrupted sleep, but for the past few months, I can sometimes go an entire night without even a minute's sleep. It's torturous and I always need a couple of days to recover. Working, reading, concentrating on anything in fact, is impossible because I'm mentally running on fumes.
Just about the only thing I can do is doodle, scribble, sketch (dribble and retch?), so here's a first draft of today's benumbed insomnia 'hangover' image - a grotesque (though some might say an improvement) self-portrait, which tries to capture how mangled I feel.
